The most special feature of Hanuman Jayanti is that, according to some religious panchangs, the birth of Sri Hanuman falls on the chaturdashi (fourteenth day), during the dark fortnight of the month of Ashvin. But according to others, it falls on the full moon day in the sparkling fortnight of Chaitra. During this day the temple spiritual discourses are started during Dawn.
