Sankat Nashan Ganesha Stotram is one of the most effective Stotra of Lord Ganesha. It eliminates all sorts of problems. Reading this Stotra daily frees a person from all kinds of problems. Lord Ganesha solves all problems and brings prosperity and happiness to life. Lord Ganesha is worshipped before beginning any auspicious task. Lord Ganesha’s different names should be called out including Vakratund, Ekdant, Krishna Pingaksh, Gajvakra, Lambodar, Chata Vikat, Vighna Rajendra, Dhumravarna, Bhalchandra, Vinayak, Ganpati etc. These twelve names should be worshipped in all three time periods of the day. This frees a person from any sort of fear.

प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यमायुः कामार्थसिद्धये ।।1।।

प्रथमं वक्रतुडं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिंगाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ।।2।।

लम्बोदरं पंचमं च षष्ठ विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ।।3।।

नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ।।4।।

द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
न च विध्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं परम् ।।5।।

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ।।6।।

जपेग्दणपतिस्तोत्रं  षड् भिर्मासैः फ़लं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ।।7।।

अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत् ।
तस्य विद्या भवेत् सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः ।।8।।

Pranamya shirasa devam Gauri putram Vinayakam.
Bhakthavasam smaretrityamayuh kama artha sidhaye ||1||

Prathamam Vakratundam cha, Ekadantam dwitiyakam.
Tritiyam Krushna Pingaksham,Gajavaktram Chaturthakam ||2||

Lambodaram Panchamam cha ,Sashtam Vikatamev cha.
Saptamam Vignarajam cha,Dhoomravarnam tathashtamam ||3||

Navamam Bhalchandram cha, Dashamam tu Vinayakam.
Ekadasham Ganapatim, Dwadasham tu Gajananam ||4||

Dwadasaithani namani,Trisandhyam yah pathenara.
Na cha vighna bhayam tasya,Sarvsiddhi karam param ||5||

Vidhyarthi labhate Vidhyam,Danarthi labhate Dhanam.
Putrarthi labhate Putran,Moksharthi labhate Gateem ||6||

Japet Ganapati stotram,Shadbhirmasai phalam labheth.
Samvatsarena sidhim cha,Labhate natra sanshaya ||7||

Ashtabhyo Brahmoyashr Likihitwa yh samarpayet.

प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम् ।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यं आयुःकामार्थसिद्धये ॥ १॥
praNamya shirasA devam gaurI-putram vinAyakam |
bhaktAvAsam smaren_nityam AyuH-kAmArtha-siddhaye || 1 ||
bowing with the head, to the divine, to the son-of-pArvatI, to the vinAyaka
to the devotee-dweller; remember daily, for the accomplishment of long life, desires and wealth||
प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम् ।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम् ॥ २॥
prathamam vakra-tuNDam cha eka-dantam dvitIyakam |
tRitiyam kRiShNa-pi~NgAkSham, gaja-vaktram chaturthakam || 2 ||
 first to the curved-trunked, and second to the one-tusked
third to the brown-eyed, fourth to the elephant-faced ||
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम् ॥ ३॥
 lambodaram pa~nchamam cha ShaShTham vikaTameva cha |
saptamam vighna-rAjendram dhUmra-varNam tathAShTamam || 3 ||
fifth to the large-bellied and sixth to the huge
 seventh the king of obstacles, and eighth to the smoke-colored ||
नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम् ।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम् ॥ ४॥ 
navamam bhAla-chandram cha dashamam tu vinAyakam |
ekAdashamam gaNa-patim dvAdasham tu gajAnanam || 4 ||
ninth to the one with moon on the forehead, tenth to the supreme hero
eleventh to the leader of peoples and twelfth to the elephant-faced ||
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं यः पठेन्नरः ।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरः प्रभुः ॥ ५॥ 
dvAdashaitAni nAmAni trisandhyam yaH paThen_naraH |
na cha vighna-bhayam tasya sarva-siddhi-karaH prabhuH || 5 ||
these twelve names, one who reads three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening)
 there is no fear of obstacles, and lord is his all-accomplisher ||
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥ ६॥ 
vidyArthI labhate vidyAm dhanArthI labhate dhanam |
putrArthI labhate putrAn_mokShArthI labhate gatim || 6 ||
knowledge seeker gains knowledge, wealth seeker gains wealth
child seeker gains child, nirvANa seeker gains nirvANa ||
जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ७॥
 japed_gaNapati-stotram ShaDbhir_mAsaiH phalam labhet |
saMvatsareNa siddhim cha labhate nAtra saMshayaH || 7 ||
 by chanting this ganapati stotram for six months, one gets results
and by [chanting for] one year accomplishment is gained, there no doubt here ||

अष्टेभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत् ।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः ॥ ८॥ 

aShTebhyo brAhmaNebhyashcha likhitvA yaH samarpayet |
tasya vidyA bhavet_sarvA gaNeshasya prasAdataH || 8 ||
one who offers having written from eight scholars
his knowledge becomes all-encompassing, by the grace of gaNesha ||

Sankat Nashan Ganesha Stotram IN Hindi

नारद जी बोले

पार्वती नन्दन श्री गणेशजी को सिर झुकाकर प्रणाम करें
और फिर अपनी आयु , कामना और अर्थ की सिद्धि के लिये
उन भक्तनिवास का नित्यप्रति स्मरण करें ।।1।।

पहला वक्रतुण्ड (टेढे मुखवाले), दुसरा एकदन्त (एक दाँतवाले),
तीसरा कृष्ण पिंगाक्ष (काली और भूरी आँख वाले),
चौथा गजवक्र (हाथी के से मुख वाले) ।।2।।

पाँचवा लम्बोदरं (बड़े पेट वाला), छठा विकट (विकराल),
साँतवा विघ्नराजेन्द्र (विध्नों का शासन करने वाला राजाधिराज)
तथा आठवाँ धूम्रवर्ण (धूसर वर्ण वाले) ।।3।।

नवाँ भालचन्द्र (जिसके ललाट पर चन्द्र सुशोभित है),
दसवाँ विनायक, ग्यारवाँ गणपति और बारहवाँ गजानन ।।4।।

इन बारह नामों का जो मनुष्य तीनों सन्धायों (प्रातः, मध्यान्ह और सांयकाल)
में पाठ करता है, हे प्रभु ‍! उसे किसी प्रकार के विध्न का भय नहीं रहता,
इस प्रकार का स्मरण सब सिद्धियाँ देनेवाला है ।।5।।

इससे विद्याभिलाषी विद्या, धनाभिलाषी धन, पुत्रेच्छु पुत्र तथा
मुमुक्षु मोक्षगति प्राप्त कर लेता है ।।6।।

इस गणपति स्तोत्र का जप करे तो छहः मास में इच्छित फल
प्राप्त हो जाता है तथा एक वर्ष में पूर्ण सिद्धि प्राप्त हो जाती है
इसमें किसी प्रकार का संदेह नहीं है ।।7।।

जो मनुष्य इसे लिखकर आठ ब्राह्मणों को समर्पण करता है,
गणेश जी की कृपा से उसे सब प्रकार की विद्या प्राप्त हो जाती है ।।8।।

Importance of Sankat Nashan Ganesha Stotram

Sankat Nashan Ganesha Stotram is taken from the Narada Purana  and is one of the most effective Stotra  of Lord Ganesh. As I said above It eliminates all sorts of problems. Chanting this Stotra daily frees a person from all kinds of impediments and destroy all sorrows.

In this stotra, Narad explain the magnificence of Lord ganesha. Narad says that every person should bow his head and worship Lord Ganesha to ask for longevity and elimination of all problems.
Lord Ganesha’s different names should be called out including Vakratund, Ekdant, Krishna Pingaksh, Gajvakra, Lambodar, Chata Vikat, Vighna Rajendra, Dhumravarna, Bhalchandra, Vinayak, Ganpati etc. These twelve names should be worshipped in all three time periods of the day. This frees a person from any sort of fear.
Lord Ganesha’s worship fulfills all desires. A person looking for money becomes rich, a person looking for knowledge acquires it and a person looking for salvation attains it. It is believed that this stotra provides results within six months. In one year, a person receives auspicious results. A person who writes this stotra and gives it to eight Brahmanas receives vast knowledge.
